NJF Projects was approached by a long-standing private client to design and manufacture a fully bespoke bookcase system for a residential property. Known for her discerning taste and attention to detail, the client had seen inspiration in a magazine but was unable to find a supplier who could bring the vision to life — until she reached out to us.
With previous successful projects under our belt, the client trusted NJF to handle the design, manufacture, and installation of this high-profile, made-to-measure feature piece. The project also included a custom-built bar installation in the property’s cellar, highlighting our expertise in creating bespoke interior joinery for luxury residential spaces.

Client Brief & Design
The client provided an inspiration image and a general idea of what she wanted. NJF conducted a full site survey, took detailed measurements, and worked collaboratively with the client to design a solution that would suit the space and match the intended aesthetic.
Drawings & Approvals
Technical drawings were developed and refined based on spatial constraints and design goals. Final approval was granted quickly thanks to NJF’s responsive design team and clear visual communication.
Manufacture & Build
Once approved, the bookcase was manufactured from scratch in NJF’s joinery workshop. Every component was cut, finished, and assembled with meticulous attention to detail, meeting the high standards expected for a one-off luxury commission.
Delivery & Installation
The project was delivered and installed within the agreed 5-week turnaround, with all works completed cleanly and efficiently on-site. The final result matched the client’s vision perfectly — elegant, timeless, and entirely unique.
